Hi, Is it possible to avoid virtual package "expansion" with aptitude ? I mean:
$ aptitude show aptitude | egrep ^Recommends Recommends: aptitude-doc-en | aptitude-doc, libparse-debianchangelog-perl $ aptitude search ~RBrecommends:aptitude v aptitude-doc - p aptitude-doc-cs - Czech manual for aptitude, a terminal-base p aptitude-doc-en - English manual for aptitude, a terminal-ba p aptitude-doc-fi - Finnish manual for aptitude, a terminal-ba p aptitude-doc-fr - French manual for aptitude, a terminal-bas p aptitude-doc-ja - Japanese manual for aptitude, a terminal-b p libcwidget3-dbg - high-level terminal interface library for p libparse-debianchangelog-perl - parse Debian changelogs and output them in Actually, every package providing "aptitude-doc" is shown in the output of the second command. Is there a way to avoid this? -- Marc _______________________________________________ Aptitude-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/aptitude-devel
