By experience in triaging bugs, there are about zero chances that you
get a useful answer for such bugs where the original useful
information should have been sent immediately when the bug was
reported.

So, well, the only useful action is probably closing the bug with a
nce message explaining that we are sorry for not reacting when the bug
was reported and suggesting to reopen the bug if the bug submitter
still experiences the issue. You get the point, I think...:)

I closed a few dozens of bugs in samba, this way (most of them were
indeed quite obviously user configuration errors, though, which might
be less common for aptitude).
