The google-mock (actually in googletest) has been filed and is also blocking. A patch cherry-picked from upstream is provided. [1] The aptitude master branch is now updated such that it builds successfully with gcc-4.8 provided that gtest and boost are both patched. An upload will be made once all blocking bugs are closed.
