--- Begin Message ---Control: tags 653563 + unreproducible Hi, Sorry for the delay, there are quite a bunch of bugs in aptitude and I hadn't stumbled upon this again. I tried to reproduce this by setting invalid nameserver lines in resolv.conf (like 127.0.0.1 and 192.*). aptitude proceeds happily in all the tests that I did (after a small delay), downloading changelogs and packages. Actually aptitude relies on apt for network operations and doesn't have code of its own in this respect, as far as I can tell, so the problem was likely fixed in the meantime by these third parties. But if you can reproduce it, by any means, please reopen this. Cheers. -- Manuel A. Fernandez Montecelo <[email protected]>
