Package: aptitude Version: 0.6.11-1+b1 Followup-For: Bug #722158 Dear Maintainer,
this problem persists in the current version. I have ~30-40 packages on hold because of bugs in their newer versions, and I have to manually figure out which exact packages these are roughly once a week, as aptitude forgets they were on hold. That completely defeats the purpose of the "holds" feature. It also makes using aptitude a very frustrating experience.
