Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.11.11-1~lenny1
Severity: normal

If Option:Aptitude::UI::Minibuf-Prompts is set and you use a bad limit
(l) like ~Abad you get an error. If you then search again, I used,
~Atesting you get the error and results from the first search.

OK, closing it now.

I was looking into this, but didn't find any reason in aptitude to
duplicate those messages. The parsing code and the one emmitting the
error is part of apt, ReadConfigFile().

Ouch, yes, I am afraid that it is. Did you loose all of it, or just
after the "wrong" line?

Cheers.
