Package: aptitude

Severity: wishlist
For those moving from 'apt-get dselect-upgrade' to aptitude, it is
frustrating that there is no way to get the same effect in one step.
I.e., one must remember to do
# aptitude full-upgrade && aptitude install #or
# aptitude safe-upgrade && aptitude install
if one wants the items one did --schedule-only on acted upon.
Therefore there should be a -o Aptitude::Upgrade-Also-Runs-Scheduled
or even
Aptitude::Full-Upgrade-Also-Runs-Scheduled
Aptitude::Safe-Upgrade-Also-Runs-Scheduled
Aptitude::All-Upgrades-Also-Runs-Scheduled
available for one to set =true. OK, never mind the third.

That was seven years ago so I don't understand it either anymore so I
will close it.
