Package: aptitude Version: 0.2.11.1-3 Severity: normal Hi, When using aptitude as a user, it needs to su to root in order to update. The user's umask is kept, however, so that files written may not be world-readable. When later using aptitude as a normal user again, it might not be able to read its package cache etc.
