Hi, may be this is a stupid question, but I could not find, how to build the .deb-package of the current debian stable version (0.6.11-1+b1) from the git repository.
I tried ./configure && make as explained in https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/aptitude/pr01s04s02.en.html But I do not like to install aptitude via make install into /usr/local I tried to use gbp buildpackage but I do not know what to check out before running the command. Surely, there must be a simple way that I overlooked somehow.
