Subject: aptitude: 'aptitude show' segfaults on some packages Package: aptitude Version: 0.7.6-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, Sometimes, 'aptitude show' lead to 'Segmentation fault (core dumped)' (exit-code 139). For example, aptitude show unattended-upgrades. I tried to update packages list, but it did not give any effect. This bug is rare and does not affect most of the packages.
Presumably it happens with the packages that are not installed (there have been a couple of reports like that), so I am going to merge the report with them.
