Since this behavior is not documented in the man page, I assume that this is a bug. Such packages are sometimes in a broken state, which is annoying.
Has this been happening in recent versions? I have not experience this behaviour, at least not in the last few months/years. If it's happening, it would be interesting to know which packages, possibly log entries or the actions that were taken before with those packages, etc. Cheers. -- Manuel A.
