Package: aptitude Version: 0.6.11-1+b1 Severity: wishlist This bug report is possibly related to #266255 (forgets about to-be-reinstalled packages on installation error) and #255587 (switching to root does not preserve the reinstall flag), but surely only applies to aptitude, not to apt. The following command does not store the request to reinstall a package: # aptitude --schedule-only reinstall somepackage If I open the aptitude TUI afterwards or run "aptitude install" to execute all scheduled actions, the requested reinstallation does not happen.
