Hi Harald,

2010-08-13 08:17 Harald Dunkel:
Package: aptitude
Version: 0.6.3-3
Severity: wishlist

It would be nice to have separate hotkeys to install a
package with our without the recommended packages.
Changing this in the preferences again and again is
pretty painful.

Maybe the '&' could be used to ignore the recommended
packages, while '+' includes all recommended packages
as before.

Perhaps the barely visible 'I' can be used for this, I don't know how
well it works in practice.

(It probably should be added to menus and maybe needs better
documentation).

Also, you can use '+' and then selectively remove/purge the Recommends
planned to be installed, I think that it shuold work fine, and in most
cases would be less taxing than editing the file.

Cheers.
