However it ignores cache and directly goes to HTTP!

$ aptitude -o APT::Get::Download=false download bash-completion

Hi,

2008-08-30 06:53 [email protected]:
Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.11.9-1
Severity: minor

      download
          Downloads the .deb file for the given package to the current
directory...

However it ignores cache and directly goes to HTTP!

$ aptitude -o APT::Get::Download=false download bash-completion
doesn't help. Also no --no-download exists unlike apt-get.

aptitude is going to use apt command direcly for this, so any problem of
the implementation to be submitted there (I was told that there's a bug
number about this, but couldn't find it after a few minutes searching).

So closing this one.

Cheers.
