I had a very strange occurrence last night. I built aqbanking svn
1199, and the next time I tried using aqbanking from gnucash (svn
trunk 15638), all my users and accounts had been removed from
~/.banking/settings.conf. The settings file was still there, and it
had a bunch of certs and the line that indicated that aqnone and
aqofxdirectconnect were active, but all the users and accounts were
gone.

I replaced settings.conf from a backup and have not had a problem
since. I think I'll have another chance to try to reproduce this when
I test packaging of 2.2.9 for fink, but I'm not expecting to see it
again. Any idea what might have caused the data disappearance?

It looks like I probably built 1199 while gnucash was running and had
already used ofxdirectconnect prior to building the new aqbanking.
After building 1199 and trying to use ofxdc, aqbanking complained
about not being able to find plugins:

3:2007/03/08 16-18-46:gwen(23587):plugin.c: 320: Plugin
"aqofxconnect" not found.
3:2007/03/08 16-18-46:aqbanking(23587):banking.c: 3461: Could not
load provider plugin for "aqofxconnect"
4:2007/03/08 16-18-46:aqbanking(23587):banking.c: 1879: Error loading/
initializing backend "aqofxconnect"

Quitting gnucash and restarting left me without the ability to
connect to my checking account, and that's when I discovered the
missing users and accounts.

The other oddity is that I could swear this happened on March 7
instead of March 8? I'm clearly confused....

I do like being able to delete accounts and users from the wizard now.
