Hi Matthias,

I posted exactly the same question a while ago, with no answer so  
far. In the meanwhile I was able to solve it by installing the  
missing library with fink, it was the GETTEXT package I assume.  
Nevertheless, this is a flaw in the distribution because it should  
also work without libintl.
