Lo primero sería saber de que plantas estamos hablando. Algunas alternantheras son palustres y no viven mucho tiempo totalmente sumergidas. Si los tubos los tenés muy pegados a la superficie del acuario podes quemar las plantas flotantes, una alternativa es pasar las plantas flotantes a otro acuario o alejar un poco los tubos. Saludos
