Hola Gonzalo, según conocidos que lo han tenido, y tienen discus, cuando tienen crías les reduce el stress, ya que no les queda el acuario totalmente oscuro. Básicamente es la explicación, mas allá de lo estético, que a mi gusto no queda del todo mal. Lo que no se es de que manera puede influir en las plantas. Saludos.
