While I disapprove of the intemperate language (not quoted),
I must agree with the message. Linux Arachne should not
contain built-in ppp configuration. Unlike the DOS users
of Arachne, the vast majority of Linux users already have
ppp operational, and they will be annoyed by an Arachne ppp
wizard (with root priviledges). Even the few users without
a current ppp configuration, do not need a wizard. Linux
already has several ppp configuration routines.
Michael should concentrate on getting the bare-bones
browser working and not worry about setup wizards
(or mail, news, etc.). What Linux needs is a compact,
single-purpose browser -- not a multi-faceted monster
that tries to do everything.
