Gee! And I have been trying Alt-P, instead! ;-)

Actually, I have just figured out the problem :
My ISP only seems to give about one second for PPP
negotiation (directly after the modem's connect
message), after which the ISP hangs up! So, for
a newbie, this situation should be avoided by
default, with "show me terminal window" = Off.

|
| So this is rather bug in implementation of referer,
| than sign that referer
| should be turned off. This is interesting note -
| mayybe some of
| redirrection problems I used to associate with cookies
| were in fact
| referer related ?
|
| (do you want to say, that iit works for you WITHOUT
| referer enabled ?!)

Yes, most redirection stuff works for me, if I disable
referrer (although I suspect that redirection MIGHT
have something to do with those "shtml" pages that
crash Arachne for me?)

|
| It won't really crash if you have enough memory, but
| you are right., that
| it should ask user to run setup.bat manualy if there
| is not enough memory.
| Or maybe rather always. or maybe "Finish setup" should

I have 622K (637k) free conventional memory ... Surely
you can't be suggesting I need MORE ??? ;-)

Best regards,
Joe.
