It's an issue because the documentation is a pipe dream.
That number works OFFLINE and is adequate to get PPPD loaded and get
you ONLINE, but it doesn't exactly work very well.
A more reasonable number for required free memory is 600k and
I'd try VERY hard to get 625k.
Then Arachne works WELL.
