I have just installed the GGI libraries (libggi and libgii) and
have a few questions since I have never used any GGI based app
before:
- arachne-ggi runs fine under X but in a rather small window. I
have a resolution of 1024x768 and the arachne-ggi window looks
like 640x480. I can see that there are some libggi.conf and
libggimisc.conf files but I no reference in them to the setting
of window sizes. Where do I set the size of this window and
with what syntax?
- Isn't GGI supposed to be (litteraly) a generic graphical
interface which for instance can run apps both on the console
as well as under X (as well as on yet other platforms)? When I
try to run arachne-ggi on the console it locks up all my ttys
so I have to push the Big Button (long live reiserfs!). Is
anybody using arachne-ggi on the console and if so what did you
do to make it work?
(Maybe the libggi svgalib wrapper needs to be installed? I'm
hesitant to do so because the documentaion states that it will
overwrite some of the include files of svgalib.)
