Hello list im new so i wrote a quick profile on
myself:
My name is John Tate and i use Red-Hat 7.2 Windows
2000
Windows 98 and MS-DOS. I know the following
lanuages:
English, Some German, QBASIC, Powerbasic, C++,
C,
Micro$haft Visual basic.
I can write terminal emulation stuff, and i am
working on my own
Scripting Language for the following
platforms
Dos, Linux, Solaris, MAC OS X, Windows, Mac OS,
Netscape Plugin,
Idiot exploiter (AKA Internet Explorer)
plugin, and i am hopeing for it to
be embedded into arachne when stable. I will write
more about the standard
another time, i also developing J-Soft Tools. Which
is like linuxconf
but for dos.
I also have recent deMicrosofted My Main
box
this is my remaining microsofted box.
It shares my Internet connection and until i get a
way to
work a Winmodem in Linux it will run windows. (if u
can help me please do)

I am getting DSL soon and i will chuck xtra netcard
in this box
and have it running Red-Hat 7.2.
I live in australia, which is good and
bad.
Good cos i have cheap hone service's and good
internet connection.
bad because the only good phone company is
Telstra&Optus
And the only good ISP's are
Bigpond&Optusnet
Bigpond is owned by telstra, there are a few
Non-Mainstream crap ISP's with GAY
Tech support and the like, but at the moment where
stuck in a monopoly.
Also bigpond & Foxtel cable services have
merged to make cable more
availible. Im switching to optusnet because bigpond
dont support Linux
and they support people with webservers but they
must run "Windows"
I ask them "Why does a webserver need a
GUI"
they say "WIndows is more stable"
is say "Bullshit" they hang up the
phone....
SO i am switchin to Optus
Anyway nuff crap from my keybored has bin type'd,
