Best wishes to you too, Sergei. BTW, most churches in the United
States also observe some kind of special Christmas-related event
on Jan 6th also, but for most people here the major celebration
occurs on Dec 25th. Most churches here celebrate Jan 6th as the
day of the arrival of the Three Wise Men, and December 25th as the
date of Christ's birth. The appropriate setting of the exact dates
is only a matter for academic and scholarly discussion. The right
day to celebrate is only a matter of tradition and custom.

Question: Do you know of some programs that are good for
decoding the ascii characters symbolizing the cyrillic characters
and characters from other languages for which we have no ascii
equivalents? It would be nice if these characters could somehow be
decoded and transformed into some kind of graphics file that is
readily readable by those who understand the language.

Have a very merry and traditional Christmas!
