Thank you for taking the time to send me all your config
and batch files to make ARACHNE run on your COMPAQ 575.
I used them as the basis for making some of my own and
am able to run both BOBCAT and ARACHNE via the
NETDIAL nad EPPPD combination on my "standard non-name"
machine.
However, the COMPAQ still balks. I split the batch files
into pieces and it is definitely the packet driver that
is holding up the show on the COMPAQ. I doubt whether
the problem is in memory since I am running DR-DOS 7 and
MEM shows 618 bytes free.
Well, back to fiddling with wild shots in the dark. But
thank you for your effort -- and the others on the list
who tried to help too.
