1.60 is actualy almost ready (the CORE.EXE), but I am afraid of making it
available without full distribution package.
Really lot of things changed, which means that old .ah, .htm and .dgi in
package often look very ugly in new Arachne (these files are usually
highly optimized for Arachne, they use <BODY NORESIZE>, etc.)
So I want to finalize package first; and I also want to finish
cut/copy/paste - it is more or less working now, but it won't be
very effective to release it half finished.
So please wait few more days... I appreciate, that you stopped
mail-boming me with various private questions (mostly) - it really helped.
As new HTML layout engine seems to be stable and pretty usable, I should
have more time for various fine tuning and features from wish-list, and
once 1.60 package is compiled, it should be much easier to release 1.61,
1.62 etc. with small updates, like I did around cca 1.2x and 1.4x ...
I will also probably first put Arachne 1.60 on current home.arachne.cz and
announce it only in this mailing list, while I will be preparing
new http://browser.arachne.cz/ download page for announce in
arachne-announce list....
