Well, time goes by, nowadays -in my opinion- this free Dos-software
is very effective (and not so hazardous :) when you know what you do).
In combination with a SCART-plug it blows away every videocard with
TV-out when you use it together with M.A.M.E (Multi.Arcade.Machine.Emulator)
and it can compare with this videocards showing MPEG1, MOV, AVI and
(CD-I) files together with eg. Quickview (DOS), and with older DOS-games
and in Dos-textmodes VGATV is also better than a composit- or svideocard.
Particularly Retrogameing brings great progress in the field of useing TVs
or older monitors with modern computers, take a look at http://www.retrogames.com
MAMEworld, PCTOJAMMA page, but this scene is -I think- like good skateboarders
< doing not talking > a little bit reserved, may be because of postings like
"Why do you play pacman on an arcademonitor res. 320x240 when there is
Quake 3 res. 1280x960 ;)".
ps. sorry for my empty mail
