L.D., I used this technique to make a Pocket Goin' Postal disk of
Steve Lawson's Goin' Postal email program for the HP DOS palm
computers. I used this on my son's Compaq 100mhz Pentium and it
worked pretty well. Using this I did not have to install any software
on his machine. Fortunately his 19.2k modem was not a Windows Modem.
I thought of this before we visited him at Christmas and took an old
14.4k external modem that I would have used on one of his machine's
COM ports.
