Yes, I think I have been mixing up the different versions of UUEN/
DECODE - there seems to have been a freeware version that couldn't
use other en/decode methods than its own, but the one in Arachne must
be able to decode "base64" attachments, because in the meantime I've
seen some of those here on the list that were done with Arachne.

Second version is the one... but probably the 7-bit people on this
list now wonder what strange kind of name I have... ;-)
I'm sorry for replying so late, but my main mail- and newsserver is
a BBS near Munich that has to use the Fidonet gateways to send my
mails to Prague - which isn't that far away, by the way. Nevertheless
they take 2-3 days till they appear on this list, which is kind of
ridiculous and reminds me of the old days of the "Iron Curtain"...
