Has anyone tried viewing eMail while "off-line" ?
I just tried it and all that v1.60b1 would do is display this message,
Cannot create index file i:\temp\$IDX$cnm.IDX
When I shell to Dos and check, i:\temp\$IDX$cnm.IDX _does_ exist.
So, I deleted it, exited back into Arachne and tried again.
Cannot create index file i:\temp\$IDX$cnm.IDX
Alt+E to Dos and check again...
the new copy of i:\temp\$IDX$cnm.IDX _was_ created.
Exit back into and Alt+D to go back on-line.
Everything works fine again.
Alt+H and we're back to: Cannot create index file i:\temp\$IDX$cnm.IDX
message from "outbox"
Cannot create index file \ARACHNE\MAIL\$IDX$tbs.IDX
message from "mail folders" \arachne\mail\links\
Cannot create index file \ARACHNE\MAIL\LINKS\$IDX$mes.IDX
All of these work fine when on-line.
