-- for MSIE3 for Win3.1x (at least that was the location last time I dropped by)

Minimum Install
Includes the Internet Explorer browser and the Java Virtual Machine.

Browser and Mail
Includes the Internet Explorer browser, Java Virtual Machine, and Mail client.

Typical or Basic Install
Includes the Internet Explorer browser, Java Virtual Machine, and TCP/IP Stack &
Dialer.

Full Install
Includes the Internet Explorer browser, Java Virtual Machine, TCP/IP Stack & Dialer,
and Mail client.

Jake-Note: I use the typical/basic but would suggest d/l-ing the full install, then
a custom installation if the mail client is not required. I don't like the mail client
but it does "MAPI" (i.e. rouse itself when you click on a mailto link). The dialer
may be used with other browsers and mail clients and is much easier to set up
than Trumpet Winsock, partly because the ISPs are expecting to be dealing with
M$ DUN so no worries over choosing "assword" or whatever. I use the M$ dialer
for 3 WIn3.1x browsers and up to a dozen ISPs(!) If you isolate the files for the
dialer from the rest of the Explorer package, perhaps you could let us know?

Use IEDIAL.EXE to setup new connections. If all the connection icons are in the
same Program Manager group, make sure you make a backup group. I also keep
a textfile of all the account information.
