Um, yeah. Another example of not getting quite what you expected. <G>

Hi Dale, Glenn, Richard;
It seems you guys have better karma.

Just so I can put some finger on it, I'll assume you were all using 800x600
and a mouse and maybe you filled in the blanks on the download page ?

It just seems silly, but I will try the above combination and see if I get
anything. What else could there be ??

Nope. That's not enough to make it work. I did all the above including
respectfully signing in and the only difference this time is the download
hung for about 10 sec @ 49%.
Then it went to "Processing application /x Arachne..... and then to Copyright
notice and then Connecting to home.arachne.cz and then downloading file again
with no operator intervention. I hit ESC while processing the second time.

I had 131Kb [+] DOS memory and when I checked the cache the biggest file in
it was 9979 bytes. The biggest file in TEMP was 9295 bytes and there was, of
course, nothing in DOWNLOAD. This was using my "testbed" machine P90 with 16
Megs and DOS 6.2 using Himem for memory management and a mostly unmodified
(just slightly fixed) out-of-the-box Arachne install .

Let's see if I got this part right:
I initially cleared my cache and went to home.arachne.cz, selected the "go to
the download page link", filled in the form, scrolled down the page to APMs
and gently put the mouse thingy on "HOTLSMAN.APM" and pushed the button.
Any difference so far ?

Here is where my past deeds come back to haunt me I guess. <fg>
