Being able to search for text strings within the page being edited by
Arachne is something I've wanted for a long time.

It took awhile for me to get used to using only F7 to do it, so at first
I thought it was *me* making mistakes.

Wasn't me.

Using the built-in editor and the F7 search, it is impossible to search
for multiple occurences of the text string UNLESS YOU DELETE EACH ONE AS
YOU FIND IT.

Since I don't want to delete, but simply want to locate/read/check, F7
always takes me to the same place ... even if I have scrolled all the
way down to the bottom of the piece being edited and even if I've placed
the cursor on the line under the last last line of text ... the search
F7 key goes back to the top of the page being edited and finds only the
first occurence of the string.

You don't believe me, take this message into "reply," get into the text
area so it's active, hit F7 and search for the string 'string' [sans
apostrophes]. Search for the next occurence. Don't hold your breath.
