To all other readers:
Mine was "Beta".... Bernie's is "Stable".
In addition to adding Bernie's line to mime.cfg....
Change "application/pdf PDF" to read as follows
application/pdf >TXT|@c:\\xpdfdos\\pdftotex.exe -q $1 $2
We can now view PDF files downloaded from http sites wothout first
saving them to disk.
(worked great for all of these)
