Those machines you are thinking about exploring seem quite powerful,
and it would be a challenge to get them running with Netscape, etc.
You might have to say goodby to Arachne if they don't have DOS on
them, I'm not sure.

If I buy a new non-Intel/compatible computer, I might have to give up DOS. I am
not sure of DOS emulators. Some non-Intel/compatible computers can be bought
with a card that includes an Intel chip, and there might be a DOS emulator like
Virtual PC that runs on Mac. Hopefully Linux and NetBSD will make me not want
to go back to DOS. Be plans to offer BeOS 5 free for download (end of March?),
but without some of the fancier add-ons. This will be for Intel/compatible,
maybe some PowerPCs, but not the latest PowerPCs because of Apple keeping
specifications secret. So my long-term future with Arachne is doubtful in view
of the competition.
