That's part of the "key" (so to speak).
---from mime.cfg---
file/file_id.diz TXT
-----------------------
After decoding the attached base64 (or uuencoded) attachment.
Arachne treats it as a text file.

That's the other part of the "key".

---from arachne.cfg---
[mail]
MailEncoding MIME (or UUENCODE, whichever you might prefer)

[misc]
UseCID Yes (by using both "CID" and "CDescr" we increase the chances
UseCDescr Yes of the receiver "knowing" what to do with the attachment)
----------------------

While I'm at this "settings stuff".... these 2 settings in arachne.cfg
might also be effecting some users' ability (or inability) to get _some_
pages on the web.
(some sites require both "cookies" _and_ "http referer")

[security]
Cookies Yes
HTTPreferer Yes
----------------------

 Oh, that's easy.<g>
Save the message to your outbox and then "modify" it to add the file
who's name you couldn't remember while in the "compose screen".
(if you please.... it's a _screen_, not a window.<vbg>
