They were viewed correctly before I sent them, and they were viewed correctly
as I viewed my own posting on the list.

I don't understand this.  It appears that not all list members are
receiving upper ascii characters exactly as I send them.  The characters
I send ought to be the same characters you receive.  If this is not the
case, then there are some very serious errors somewhere.

I hope somebody can please explain what might be wrong.
