Nwcache has a max size of 7mb.
Can Smartdrv's do bigger?

As you may have noticed, I didn't mention anything about DR-DOS memory
managers.(himem or emm386)
The reason for this is simple.... they suck.<g>

That's why I use Qemm v7.5
IMHO, it's the BEST!!!<g>

I was simply camparing nwcdex to mscdex.
Yes, you are right.... shsucdx is much better than either of them.
I almost always use shsucdx.(except when I need to access a cd with LFNs)

I'm too lazy to change my .bat file to point to it.

Use 2 different programs at the same time just to edit a text file?!?!?
(you've been using windows again. Haven't you????<vbg>)

Well, on the choice of text editors.... it's all a matter of opinion.
I like DR-DOS edit.com because it uses the same key functions as Xtpro.
(cntrl+k,b... cntrl+k,k... cntrl+k,y... cntrl+k,v... etc..etc...)
begin block end block del block move block

But, for a really good editor.......
Pedit v3.30 is the only way to go.(IMO)<g>
