i write this, for a diferent purpose. However i need
to know (if anyone of yours knows) if there's exist a
ramdrive emulator wich can be loaded from dos (not
the DEVICE=a:etc etc) and it can be removable...
Why? it's simple, the Pc on the university are
NETBOOT type (so i can't modify the boot sectors or
the files config.sys or autoexec.bat, wich i can't
access) and i want to acceletate the speed of arachne
because the computers referred don't have hard disks
and the net drives available are much more slow than
a floppy disk (no joke): arachne takes about 5:48 min.
in load the arachne homepage, bypassing the fact
that i use a proxy of 10mbps of speed (ironic.. isn't)
and the setup process indicates that my computer
(in the labs) fits 'in the category 508'... and it is
586 class!!!!!
