No, Reply.htp is basically the setup for the reply compose window.
Yes you can, and I have, modified this.
The reply _selector_ on the mail reading screen has 2 possibilities:
From: and Reply to: . From: is preselected. This page says it is
generated by Mailman 3.5.

You ARE right about that one. I guess the problem was that I edited the
wrong one. <G> There are MANY of these .ah things that seem to be similar.
Maybe I expected that changing the editor would change all of them. :-((
