After optimising your memory to get a 69K free UMB block,
(For PCDOS/MSDOS type mem/c/p to check), here is what to do
to load epppd high when online with Arachne.
1) In ARACHNE.CFG, look for this line
Connection @epppd.exe>>PPP.LOG
and change it to
Connection @lh epppd.exe>>PPP.LOG
2) Loading EPPPD high worked for me when I have BOOTP enabled
and show terminal screen disabled.
Go to PPP options (accessible from your dialer page)
and uncheck 'show terminal screen'
Select 'external dialer setup screen'and under IP address,
select the 'Try to use BOOTP' option
It is possible that you don't need to do what I've done in (2)
but again it didn't work for me when I had show terminal
screen enabled.
