Hi Michael;
This is very strange. The numbers I gave you were on a P90 with 16Mb
ram. I was using MSDOS 6.20 with Himem.sys and Emm386.sys and with
VGA 640x480x256. Arachne was 100% on HARD disk. (C:\ARACHNE)
With my other systems Arachne behaves EXACTLY the same. That's a 33Mhz
'486 with 8Mb ram using PCDOS 3.3 + QEMM 8.01 with Arachne 98% on RAMDISK.
Here the display is monochrome VGA 640x480x16.
And the same with 20Mhz'386, 4Mb ram, 90% on ramdisk and EGA.(DOS3.3/Qemm5)
Glenn's system sounds like it might be similar to yours except for the OS,
and HE certainly has the problem too.
