Bernie and me where (at least, I was) investigating the dpmi problem.
I disvovered:
There is no direct difference in memory-usage in Arachne with newer version
of cwsdpmi. But at the moment, if one uses cwsdpmi (png2jpg & djpeg3), the
newest version is recommended (the author says: always use newest version
and I agree (and I don't want a discussion about this!)).
Other subject: if one is using DR-DOS 7.03, set the minimum for NWCACHE
the same as maximum, this works okay at my systems (with every tested
program).
And further,
Bernie, I reply to people in private when problems are still not solved.
If you don't like that, it's your problem, not mine (if you ment me anyway).
