Ah, but the size will only be correct if there was enough spare room for
the file to begin with. If you download a file that's too large it will
only save as much as it can to disk and the rest just vanishes :(
If however one have (enough) space free then it's far easier just to hit
the same link again, Arachne will see that it already has the file in cache
and will do whatever you have asked Arachne to do with it. (Or ask you what
you want to do).
