Last time I installed 1.61 and tried to send mail, it was one error message after another despite mail being set up correctly. I was pulling what little hair I have left out by the roots ... and then saw that a "root" was precisely the problem. Had brain or finger leak, and Arachne had ended up installed in C: where it doesn't belong. Did the "get rid of it!" and I'm starting over. As before, all detection of video & system & NIC & driver went fine. As soon as I finished e-mail setup appended to LAN Wizard, I was downloading Arachne home page [12 sec].
