Glenn,
Like I said -- no more animated gifs. The yinyang gif simply sits there
in the left top corner of a black screen and does nothing.
I might have noticed the absense of animation sooner, but being on cable
means no dial screen, no torch fluttering there [yes, I renamed a few
files to pull that one off], and no way to check for animation unless
I'm really paying attention to ads.
And, Michael, not even the banner on the Arachne home page is animated.
So, folks, any ideas?? It can't be a matter of available memory since I
have more conventional memory available to Arachne under my cable config
than I did under dial-up, my options setups have 4Mb/1Mb selected, and
my CPU should be running happier now since I replaced its fan.
So???
