QL2FAX is one of the many FAX/communications programs sold by Smith
Micros. The QL stands for Quick Link.
They have "stand alone" FAX products, for Win9x and Mac and Unix ... no
DOS or Linux. All of them seem to run about $60 plus tax, title, and
license ... wait a minute, that's for cars! <G>
Smith Micros has a special contract with 3Com/USR for custom designed
packages to be included with 3Com modems. Those may, or may not, have
DOS capability. Those interested might check the 3Com site.
At one place I saw where Smith Micros apparently had downloadable demos
available. Since I don't have any OS they offer software for, I didn't
dig deep enough to confirm or deny demo existance.
