BGFAX is a package I've been using for some time, and it's shareware.
It's that good, I registered my copy, and I've arranged registered
copies for some customers too.
Works great from the DOS prompt, non memory resident for sending faxes,
but can also be loaded resident for receiving. Package includes
utility to view faxes received, and to create fax from text file or .PCX
file. Program is compatible with another package called 2FAX which
will create fax files based on a mix of text/PCX files. If anyone
wants, I can send a copy of the shareware .ZIP file of either.
