Hi;
I can't get/use that resolution but the point might be that everything looks
sharper. My grayscale VGA monitor is incredibly sharp compared to the blurry
fuzzy edged dot pattern you get on a (my) color VGA monitor.
Most people are so used to it that they don't see them. I remember the first
time I saw color television I could see the dots while standing four feet away.
Now I can't see them unless I look for them AND at ONE foot.<G>
I can't really see the dots on my VGA monitor from a normal viewing distance,
it just seems sort of grainy compared to the total smoothness of monochrome.
