Only Arachne Freezes with this Oddity
On visiting http//homepages.enterprise.net/mackay/hypocrisy.html I was
perplexed to find Arachne would display the top of the page as one
screenfull, but would not let me access the rest of the page using
PdDown or Spacebar. This WEB site had several other documents displaying
the same symptoms. Experimenting with the HTML code before sending off a
query to its Webmaster, I found it was the inclusion of "<table..." that
was the culprit; viz:

Editing out "<table" gave me access to the rest of the page. To my
astonishment, friends using Explorer and Netscape experienced no
difficulty paging through the document without need for editing HTML
code as I had.
Why does only Arachne (latest version) act up this way?
